For OnTrac RSPs
You hold the routes and you bring the vehicles. We keep inspected, GPS-tracked vans at the Phoenix facilities your drivers already report to, so a driver picks up on the way in, not across town.
OnTrac contracts its routes to Regional Service Providers (RSPs): independent businesses that supply their own vehicles and drivers. This page uses that term. Elsewhere on the site we say “your company”.
How it works
Request a van for a driver and a set of dates, from the fleet portal or the request form, then pay up front. Fleetstead bills the RSP, not the driver, so there is nothing to settle at the lot.
The van is parked at the OnTrac facility the driver reports to. A short pre-trip on the phone, a signature, and the keys.
The van is tracked while it is out and your dispatcher can see where it is. It comes back to the same lot, on time, with a full tank.

Where it fits
A van in the shop does not have to mean a route uncovered. Rent by the day until yours is back.
Taking on routes at a facility is easier when the vans are already there. Scale up for the weeks you need and hand them back.
Freightliner MT45 step vans for high-stop routes, cargo vans for everything else, both on the same account.
Every pickup and return is photographed and logged. Your RSP sees the inspection record, the day's trips and any low-fuel event, by driver and facility.
