For FedEx ISPs
You own or lease your fleet, and FedEx does not lease to you. When a van is down or the volume outruns the fleet, rent one by the day: inspected, GPS-tracked and staged in the Phoenix metro.
FedEx contracts pickup and delivery to Independent Service Providers (ISPs) under an ISP Agreement. ISPs employ their drivers and supply their own vehicles. This page uses that term. Elsewhere on the site we say “your company”.
How it works
Request a van for a driver and a set of dates, then pay up front. Fleetstead bills the ISP, not the driver.
Vans are staged at lots in the Phoenix metro, and the pickup point comes with your confirmation. Tell us which station your drivers report to and we will tell you the nearest lot.
The van is tracked while it is out and your dispatcher can see where it is. It comes back to the same lot, on time, with a full tank.

Where it fits
A P&D van in the shop for a week is a route you still have to run. Rent one for the week.
Add vans for the weeks the volume demands and hand them back when it drops.
Closed on routes before your own vans arrive? Rent the gap instead of rushing a lease.
Your ISP Agreement and your station set what vehicles you may run and how they are marked. Our vans are unmarked. Check before you book and tell us what is allowed; we will say plainly whether a van fits.
