For Amazon DSPs
Your branded vans come through Amazon's fleet program. When one is in the shop or peak outruns the fleet, an inspected rental staged in the Phoenix metro can cover the gap, where your station allows it.
Amazon contracts its last-mile routes to Delivery Service Partners (DSPs): independent businesses that run out of Amazon's delivery stations and whose Delivery Associates drive the routes. This page uses those terms. Elsewhere on the site we say “your company”.
How it works
Request a van for a Delivery Associate and a set of dates, then pay up front. Fleetstead bills the DSP, not the driver.
Vans are staged at lots in the Phoenix metro, and the pickup point comes with your confirmation.
The van is tracked while it is out and your dispatcher can see where it is. It comes back to the same lot, on time, with a full tank.

Where it fits
A branded van in the shop is a route you still have to staff. Rent one until it is back.
Add vans for the weeks that need them and hand them back after.
Amazon sets what vehicles a DSP may run and when a third-party rental is allowed. Check with your station before you book, tell us what they allow, and we will match it.
Every pickup and return is photographed and logged. Your DSP sees the inspection record, the day's trips and any low-fuel event, by Delivery Associate and station.
